Ron Bernstein

Ron Bernstein launched his government relations career in 1995 within the City & County of Denver as the Deputy Manager of General Services – Director of Purchasing. He then moved into the City’s Theaters and Arenas division serving as the Director of Arts, Culture and Film where he was responsible for all public venues. In his final five years with the City, Mr. Bernstein served as the Director of Economic Development and International Trade. In that role he focused on revitalizing low income, blighted neighborhoods by creating economic opportunities. Additionally, he developed international opportunities for local businesses by opening and overseeing the operation of trade offices in London and Shanghai.

Prior to his work with the City, Mr. Bernstein had an extensive career as a contractor and real estate developer. He has successfully built and managed numerous apartment buildings in metro Denver, built a one million square foot regional shopping center as well as multiple townhomes and single-family homes in Douglas and Denver counties. He was also a columnist for the Denver Post Sunday “Ask the Expert” real estate section.

Mr. Bernstein is proud to be a third generation Denverite as well as the third generation in his family to have worked for the City of Denver.
